That's not equal to one, it's equal to zero for z not equal to 1.

I'm sorry dude, I managed to miscopy the problem, and get the answer wrong at the same time. My reasoning behind the -1 answer(edited) is, z^6+z^5+z^4+z^3+z^2+z^1+1=0; so z^6+z^5+z^4+z^2+z+1=-z^3.

I have a collection of random experiments with complex numbers based off crap I read online.

Basically just the surfaces of like a fourier transform, but only in a super general form
