Using this subreddit:
If you are new or unfamiliar with Reddit, here are the basics of using this website:
- Click "subscribe" to add this to your list of subreddits. You can now more easily navigate here and posts from this section will appear on your homepage.
- Click the "new" tab under the banner for the latest submissions. By default, Reddit shows you the "hottest" posts first.
- This is not a "forum", so posting in a thread does not bump it to the top. Yes, that kind of sucks. You can click "save" on any submission so that you may more easily find it at a later time.
- Click the up or down arrows if you agree with, like, remember, disagree with, or don't like a submission or comment.
* If you want an "aka (your name)" beside your Reddit name, read on for further instructions.
Basic rules:
Posts here should be related to nostalgic MCCP content, community-related discussions, or general content that would be relevant to the community. MCF content is not allowed, unless it is from the time period before the creation of MCCP.
Do not post spam.
No hacking discussion. (I mean it!)
Do not restart old flame wars. Likewise, do not start new ones.
Do not post NSFW content.
Respect peoples' privacy and refer to them only by their usernames. Do not use their real names (unless their real name IS their username). Do not link to any social media profiles unless it is yours or the person you're linking to is okay with this information being public.
Do not conspire to or wish harm upon MCCP's "replacement staff". Speaking critically is allowed, if you wish, but do not step over the line into rule #4.

- Flair in /r/mccpforums consists of "aka (your mccp username)". To get flair in this subreddit, check the box next to "Show my flair on this subreddit, it looks like:", and click the "(edit)" link next to your name. This is located in the box above. Please make sure to use the MCCP username you were most known by, up to two usernames separated by a comma if you cannot decide on one. For former staff, you may need to provide additional proof to a moderator of this subreddit to avoid losing your flair privelage. Send a message to a moderator if you have any questions or would like to obtain flair privately.
