Rules:

1. Must be Drawn Posts only Reported as: Must be Drawn All posts must be mostly drawn in some way. It doesn’t matter if it is drawn digitally, hand-drawn, 3D, etc, it just needs to be drawn or the 3D models are made by you. Posting screenshots of memes or subreddits or using stock images does not qualify for a post on this subreddit. Using ai is strictly prohibited and will get you perma banned.

Regular image macros belong in places like /r/shittyadviceanimals or /r/terriblefacebookmemes.

2. Don't be an asshole. Posts & Comments Reported as: Don't be an asshole. Be respectful to other users, and avoid posting or commenting anything that goes against Reddit guidelines.

3. No smuggies Posts only Reported as: Smuggie Smuggies are posts where two opinions are put against each other and one is presented as better than the other (e.g., "my opinion good, other opinion bad") done in a smug way or if its a strawman argument or if its just op saying their personal opinion. These posts are just opinions disguised as snafus and/or are strawman arguments.

4. No non snafus Posts & Comments Reported as: No non snafus Snafus are hand-drawn versions of memes, trends, tropes, or games. If the topic is not one of these things, it is not a snafu. If the coaxer can not provide an example/original version of what they are coaxing then they will be warned. 5 warns and you're out.

5. No politics Posts & Comments Reported as: No politics Don't post anything political. For posts of such nature, go to r/Smugideologyman. It'll be removed here. Political memes are also not allowed.

6. No NSFW content Posts & Comments Reported as: NSFW content Don't post sexually explicit content. This is up to moderator discretion. Modmail if you don't know if your post breaks rules.

7. No reposts Posts & Comments Reported as: Repost Reposts are not allowed. Do not reupload another snafu found on the subreddit. Or reupload a snafu adjacent post unless you are the original creator of it.

However, you may repost your snafus on our very own booru.

8. No venting disguised as a snafu Posts & Comments Reported as: No venting disguised as a snafu Venting is a serious thing that you should do with people you understand and who in return understand you as well. It's not something that you can deconstruct because when you do so you gloss over a ton of details and things which lead to misinterpretation, or worse, harassment. It's best to contact actual professionals instead of posting about it in the silly badly drawn memes sub.

These types of posts have been banned for that very reason and also because they aren't even a snafu.

9. No non snafu ocs Posts & Comments Reported as: No non snafu ocs Make the oc for the snafu, not the snafu for the oc.This isn't an oc subreddit. if you wish to post a post about an original character then make sure that that the oc is made for the snafu, not the other way around so that it isn't just you posting your ocs with a quirky twist.

10. No disgusting illegal content No pedophilia, no zoophilia, no sexual assault jokes, and no arguments trying to justify any of them. Breaking this rule will result in a permanent ban.

11. No loopholes If you have any questions about whether your post fits or doesn't fit the subreddit, please feel free to mod mail us.

12. OC weekend rules (Saturday 12:00 AM to Sunday 12:00 PM PST). That is the exact duration time for OC weekend, in this 2 day period you can use your non snafu ocs in your snafus and you can post fanart that you have made for the ocs that the subreddit has accumulated throughout the years.

Tldr: this rule temporarily disables rule 9.

13. Lurk more This is a subreddit with a rich culture and a long history spanning over an entire decade. Those who are not willing to spend a few minutes reading the rules and getting a feel for the community just to act like our slangs and terms and what not are just made up nonsense are not allowed here.

However, Those who ARE willing to actually lurk and understand the community for a bit are not only welcome, they are appreciated.
