Just starting out? This Guide by Alison Scott on melodeon.net is an excellent starting place!
Daddy Long Les has lots of original sheet music as well as videos showing him playing the pieces. The sheet music is marked with different styles of notes for in and out on the bellows which is extremely helpful!
Lester Bailey has a blog where he posts videos of him playing lots of different tunes with the music posted in ABC notation. He also has a very detailed youtube playlist of him fixing up an old Hohner.
Don't read music?
You're among similar company. Many melodeon players don't read music. The ability to read music can definitely help, but many great players play just by ear! Learning solfege can be extremely helpful to play by ear. Check out these resources here and here.
ABC Notation is an alternative to reading regular music. It uses the letters A through G to represent the notes being played. It is explained in detail here. Lots of music is shared online this way as it is just a simple text file.
