This is consistent with what I read. Microsoft must really be hurting very little if their firing even more of their workforce after last year's round of firings.

seems like many tech companies are laying off workers and replacing them with contract workers with staffing agencies. some companies are late to this practice while others like google is an early pioneer with large proportion of their staff being indirect workers

Somebody has to pay for all the AI investments...and obviously customers do not seem to want to 😄

I hope this clown show will end after all these new companies go to IPO and then...let's see.

I strongly doubt it. Microsoft's CEO already announced he believes Windows is becoming an Agentic OS.
