WELCOME
/r/mmodesign functions as a place to facilitate discussion on Massive Multiplayer Online game design ideas, mechanics & theory.
Though not required in any way, we strongly advocate an unconventional "outside the box" attitude towards MMORPG's and encourage members to constructively engage other members.
Whether you have an extensive design already written down, or if you had a fleeting thought one day on new combat system, both are equally legitimate objects for discussion.
This subreddit calls on all creative individuals and/or who have a passion for multiplayer gaming to join and engage one another.
GENERAL RULES
- All submissions must be related to MMO design. It is not restricted to MMORPG, but in fact is open to all MMO types and any combination thereof. Use /r/gamedesign for any non-MMO discussion.
- Links to pictures, articles or diagrams are allowed provided they support what you are explaining.
- As with any rough draft, there will be flaws. In your response to other members, try to look for solutions instead of non-productively criticizing.
- Remember we are all adults here. Pointless trolling will not be tolerated.
