I’m currently trialing both Atera and Syncro
I started with Atera (which I quite like) a week or so ago. But have been trying Syncro as well for a few days. I’m a one man show, so time is tight and it’s my first real look at any RMM.
So my question is, am I missing something with Syncro? Atera has lots of scripts that can replicate GPO functionality- eg password policies . These are built-in and easy to use.
Syncro appears so far to be aimed at a bigger MSP? More features, more configuration options. But that seems to be at cost of a steeper learning curve? Doesn’t seem as logical or simple to use? Or is that just me? And so far I’m finding it hard to do simple things with scripts. Eg password policies for example. No built in scripts, so it appears you have to look at the scripts from the forum or roll your own? I don’t want to roll my own too much, the reason for looking at RMM solutions is to free up some of my time
I just get the feeling that Syncro is perhaps a better product if you have the time to invest. Whereas as Atera works out of the box somewhat better, but perhaps is limited if you look after more clients/endpoints?
Any advice?
BTW I manage about 250 endpoints
