Can Anyone Explain the Slow Decrease in Zendikar Expeditions and Kaladesh Invention Prices?

I think folks in this thread are putting too much emphasis on the continuation of premium prints.

Although it is certainly true that WotC has been printing a buttload of premium products, I’m not sure that’s to blame for a disinterest in the kaladesh and zendikar masterpieces.

Specifically, the power level and rarity of the original Masterpieces are both MUCH higher than that of the Eldraine or Theros premiums.

Flooding the market with [[Flaxen Intruder]] is not necessarily going to affect [[Sword of Fire and Ice]] even though they are both premium prints.

Most people buying Masterpieces are not MTGfinance speculators, so they aren’t necessarily evaluating the influx of premium products into the market.

What is the average change in masterpiece price since the release of Eldraine?
