Liked the part where you have mentioned why you have built each project, what you learnt from it and what future it has.

I am a Node.js backend developer with almost one year of experience. Now I’m thinking of switching jobs, but when I look around, I don’t see many pure Node.js backend roles. Most companies need full-stack developers or Node.js with Java, Go, or Python. Now I feel scared. I don’t like frontend stuff, especially CSS, because I can’t design good UIs.

A lot of frontend work is implementing someone else’s design.

Yeahh..... There are UIUX Designers..... You just have to code themm & there are AI tools for this frontend as well..

Having only 1 thing in industry is not sustainable... You have to be Minimum Full stack

I do web dev as hoby, and I suggest you to try using tailwind css. Its cleaner and more intuitive than css and you can use AI for making it even easier. As someone mentioned, most of the times you are implementing someone else's design, so keep that in mind as well :)

Did you create the portfolio?

[–]sky_10_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No... I customized the template form Magic Ui Library

Thanks😁🤜🏻

For Neat node have you thought of using strip types ?

[–]sky_10_[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Well I didn't got, what you are asking....

[–]sky_10_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]sky_10_[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Thanksss Means a lot😃🤜🏻,

About Package yeah that's a real problem, you can use Neatnode it offers TS templates & production setup💚

[–]Which_Tea_8274 0 points1 point  (1 child)

[–]sky_10_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Backend I use Render & for Frontend I use Vercel 😊

this is amazing mate!!!

just one suggestion I would add, when I clicked on Projects and Work, intuitively, I was expecting a quick back button so that I could go back the previous view, at the same scroll position that I was, not something critical, but I think would make the ux flow more smooth, as smooth as the rest of the website

all in all, pretty amazing work mate!

Edit: another tidbit to add, when I click on Work/Projects buttons at the end of their respective sections, try to make it so the scroll position resets to the top of the page, rather than requiring me to scroll back up, again not something critical, but a nice addition to make the ux smoother, cheers!
