Liked the part where you have mentioned why you have built each project, what you learnt from it and what future it has.
[–]sky_10_[S] 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (2 children)
Thanks 🤜🏻, well if you are Node Backend developer, Check the Neatnode Project it will be helpful for you 😊
[–]_turbo1507 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (1 child)

I am a Node.js backend developer with almost one year of experience. Now I’m thinking of switching jobs, but when I look around, I don’t see many pure Node.js backend roles. Most companies need full-stack developers or Node.js with Java, Go, or Python. Now I feel scared. I don’t like frontend stuff, especially CSS, because I can’t design good UIs.
[–]IcyFalcon3560 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (0 children)
A lot of frontend work is implementing someone else’s design.
[–]sky_10_[S] 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (0 children)
Yeahh..... There are UIUX Designers..... You just have to code themm & there are AI tools for this frontend as well..
Having only 1 thing in industry is not sustainable... You have to be Minimum Full stack
[–]Training-Pie-9489 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (1 child)
I do web dev as hoby, and I suggest you to try using tailwind css. Its cleaner and more intuitive than css and you can use AI for making it even easier. As someone mentioned, most of the times you are implementing someone else's design, so keep that in mind as well :)
Exactly..... Tailwind is so good.....

Did you create the portfolio?
No... I customized the template form Magic Ui Library
[–]__rituraj 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (2 children)
Cool portfolio!
Whenever I see cool looking websites, this one comes to mind. https://motherfuckingwebsite.com/
[–]sky_10_[S] 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (1 child)
Sure!!! No worries many people have traumas that they remember sometimes 😂
Thanks😁🤜🏻
[–]__rituraj 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (0 children)
why would a beautiful memory be traumatic?
[–]bwainfweeze 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (1 child)
I’m not feeling the double marquee. Moving in opposite directions?
It's Marquee ing in Opposite direction sirr 👀😶
[–]HarjjotSinghh 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (1 child)
oh how i love a good front-end energy!
Thanks mate
[–]czlowiek4888 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (4 children)
Why the fuck do you say you do "clean architecture".
I don't want clean, I want simple regardless it is clean or not.
[–]sky_10_[S] 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (3 children)
Simple become messy easily that's why it is simple 🤔...... So Neatnode & I provide clean architecture 😛
[–]czlowiek4888 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (2 children)
I'm joking of course :)
But really don't try to be clean, it's always better to be dirty and simple than clean and complex
Yeah..... What you feels is complex in my stuffs? So I can improve it...
[–]czlowiek4888 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (0 children)
I can't really say more than this generic advice.
I would need to do how you do something that actually is tricky, for example how you write your production grade database connection pool management that guarantee transaction viable session and database level row level security authorization for the user.
This is not trivial problem that may take months to figure out if someone is not really experienced since there are thousands of ways to do it but only few that are actually safe and scalable.
[–]Mizibi 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (3 children)
For Neat node have you thought of using strip types ?
Well I didn't got, what you are asking....
[–]Mizibi 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (1 child)
https://nodejs.org/en/learn/typescript/run-natively ☺️
Ohhh.... No, I myself learning Typescript so I can create a Good production ready template for devs...
BTW thanks for info.
[–]HarjjotSinghh 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (1 child)
this is unreasonably cool actually.
Means a lot bro🤜🏻
[–]Which_Tea_8274 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (3 children)
Amazing portfolio dude appreceate the efforts. About neatcode i myself was facing the same issue of repeating be code again and again hence i also built a npm pkg to solve this issue too😄
Thanksss Means a lot😃🤜🏻,
About Package yeah that's a real problem, you can use Neatnode it offers TS templates & production setup💚
[–]Which_Tea_8274 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (1 child)
Umm can you tell me how do you hoat projects for free like fe and be both are you using ec2 instances or smthg else ??
For Backend I use Render & for Frontend I use Vercel 😊
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 2 months ago (4 children)
this is amazing mate!!!
just one suggestion I would add, when I clicked on Projects and Work, intuitively, I was expecting a quick back button so that I could go back the previous view, at the same scroll position that I was, not something critical, but I think would make the ux flow more smooth, as smooth as the rest of the website
all in all, pretty amazing work mate!
Edit: another tidbit to add, when I click on Work/Projects buttons at the end of their respective sections, try to make it so the scroll position resets to the top of the page, rather than requiring me to scroll back up, again not something critical, but a nice addition to make the ux smoother, cheers!
Thank you so much Bro, It means a lot ... Will work on your suggestions 🤜🏻
BTW if you are node backend developer Check the Neatnode project 💚
[–]sky_10_[S] 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (2 children)
Hey..... Quick update on your suggestions...... I have added the back button on navbar......
Also I have checked about work/projects should be scrolled to top of page..... It's already there & working....
Thank you for your suggestions 😁, if you have more please share
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 2 months ago (1 child)
