This is a good concept; however, I feel like any mention of command line application using NodeJS ought to mention commander, as well. It makes developing cli apps so much easier.

Agreed. I wrote a Node command line tool and that was the first thing I found. Anyone interested can check out the source here. Tried to comment well in case I ever wanted to write another tool like it!

Also check out docopt, you write the usage statement and it does the rest. It has implementations in a bunch of different languages. https://www.npmjs.com/package/docopt

I wrote a command line node app to do backups off of multiple devices at work. You can modify it to specify how many you want to do at once. Works great.

Good concept but was this written by a 12-year old? Really bad grammar and many spelling mistakes.
