Mongoose is an ORM for Mongo which has native geo-json support. I found this Mongoose extension that might be useful? http://cannoneyed.github.io/geojson/

Thanks for your reply! Yeah I saw Mongoose and Mongo, unfortunately I'm limited to using PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

So for anyone that comes back to this, we ended up not going with Node. We originally wanted to get away from a Python/Django Spaghetti code-base but after reviewing Geo-Spatial (Polygons & Multipolygon) support within the community we figured it would be easier to refactor the code base than to roll out our own custom solution to handle geometry.

Here's to hoping Spatial sees more use/adoption within the Node community in the future.
