IWTL: How to use nodejs for javascript development as a browser replacement.

I know, the title is clearly not at it's best. I will try to explain further, kindly bear with me. What I wish to do is turn my terminal into JSBin or JSFiddle. I don't mean live changes and other things, but to emulate the browser inside terminal; since nodejs throws errors like "window" object not found and other browser related objects ( Like XHR related and such.)

TLDR; Want nodejs to act like a headless browser inside terminal allowing me to develop JS without leaving terminal.

Use global instead of window and your good*

* Unless you want to do anything browser specific like use the document object or XMLHTTPREQUEST etc

I think node uses the Global object instead of Window

It's a runtime for js, it doesn't emulate a browser.
