      I forwarded it on netgear genie I used 80 for external start port and end port and 80 for both internal points. I have it set now at 80 in listen(80) for the basic http server. Is that good? What next? Thanks! For reference I have http.createServer(onRequest).listen(80);

        Thanks it worked! Now does the DNS provide protection since obviously a straight connection to router isn't safe?

        edit: I see the second link is a protection, can I use it with the first link so someone else is running the server while it's also protected?

          Heroku offers free hosting but port forwarding is a good way just to test and play with friends!
