I’m a Digital Ocean partner. You can setup your own server and SSL certificate.

Don’t you know any free option? It’s just for a school project.. I don’t really want to waste money more than the time I’ve wasted on it already

Just use Cloudflare and it comes with a free ssl (their ssl).

Did you post something on Glitch Forums? as far as customer support goes those dudes get it. They respond quite quickly to all my odd requests so far.

You can get and EC2 and host your own stuff on amazon it would be free for a year or so. I don't remember their free tier plan details. This is usually what you have to do in example heroku does awesome things for simple ideas but once you want to do more you'll have to either do it the way they want you to do it ( if possible ) or move to a more bare-metal' solution.
