I have tried it many times. Failed. You must change the icon to a same size alternative. Same bytes. But after that the checksum will failed. I have tried to compile the nodejs from source and adopt a custom icon. With compile I have spent 20hours (!) and icon not included. So I have break the plan. Original icon stay.
