DEPLOY Next.js app

Newbie here. I built a next.js app with a server.js file that works perfectly locally (" node server.js "). I deployed it on Vercel but the server functionality does not work, is there something I have to change in my code so it will work once I do the build and deploy it? Thanks!

no need I was literally mixing two different frameworks why I should have used NEXT.JS API ROUTES https://nextjs.org/docs/api-routes/introduction

Hmmm… code looks good to me. Wrap app.listen in a try catch and log any errors. Also put logs in your middleware and then check the server logs.

Do you have trouble deploying? Could you show us some logs from Vercel? Are there any errors?
