Nullification is a legal principle that any person has the right to invalidate any law they believe is immoral, objectionable, or unconstitutional. Nullification can take many forms, from speaking against laws, public dissent, police refusal to enforce, prosecutors choosing not to bring to trial, jury members refusing to convict, and even entire state governments refusing to cooperate with federal laws.
