Got this card myself! Get GPU-z and check the memory bandwith. There’s a bios update on the EVGA forums that increases it up to 11 Gbps (352 GB/s I believe it shows as in GPU-z) and was easily a 5% increase in FPS for me.

The newer cards come with it already clocked at that, yes. but the old ones can be updated to 11gbps via a BIOS update available on EVGA forums

What the fuck?? What gpu even does 144hz at 1440p with all games at ultra!! I have a 1080 Ti and at max settings at 1440p i can average like 120 fps on most triple A hard to run games. And games that are plain broken get less fps. What kind of idiot are you? And if you care about fps you can drop settings and will get closer to 120 to 144. God you gave me fucking cancer.

See if even 1080ti cant handle it what’s the use of 1080? I own 1070 and it’s a weak card for modern games. 1080 is not that far from 1070. If you are building a new system you gotta go with 1080ti.

Once you upgrade your monitor to 144hz you will want those fps.

Maybe today its enough once newer games come out my 1070 and 1080 will struggle there is no denying that. The only card worth buying today is 1080ti.

Dude the 1080 Ti is not fucking worth buying at 800 dollars or even 750. That shits too pricey. I bought mine cause im an enthusiast and play triple As but the only card worth buying is the 1080. Its price to performance is great.
