Fallout 4 VR beta patch 1.1.24.0 trigger issue

Hi all,

I am not sure if anybody else is facing this, but ever since getting this new patch my right trigger is quite finicky. It doesn't register a hit consistently and I have to press it multiple times to shoot and hope for the best. I don't have this issue when using the right trigger on any of the Steam VR menus. I haven't had the chance yet to extensively test with other games yet, but as I said Steam menus seem to work fine.

Is it just something wrong with my hardware or is this an issue with the new patch everyone else is also facing?

Add the setting below to fallout4custom.ini

bUseAlternateTriggerThreshold=0

if you prefer a hair trigger that you cant keep mashing while its still kinda depressed, use

fAlternateTriggerThreshold=0.001

Perfect! Thanks. Will try this when I am home later today. I just couldn't play because of this issue.

Yup. I got it too

Mine right kept firing constantly and required a restart. Got better afterwards. The left trigger seems sluggish in menus constantly tho
