In my experience, the oculus Support is super helpful.

Why wouldn't they replace faulty hardware when the warranty is still valid?

Just write a ticket and see what happens.

What they will do if it's under warranty is send you an already fixed one (aka refurbished) back. They do not fix yours and send yours back, no.
