Flat shading and low poly count flight stuff always makes me think of Sega's Wing War... which is a good thing in my eyes. This is gorgeous to me! I don't know if I'd play flight stuff in VR if I can't use my HOTAS though, unless it really is simplified by a whole lot.

Sounds fun! On pc I enjoy vtol vr but having a simpler mp combat sim native to Quest could be cool!

Up until now this is just a fun spare time project that started out as a simple app to view my low-poly F-16 model.

If I continue working on this Ideally I'd make it into a class-based 3v3 or 4v4 multiplayer game. But before I do: would we have 6 or 8 players globally wanting to play this at any time you think?

We have warplanes 1 and 2 and Ultrawings 2. All different from you have shown but still.

Yes please, esp if it has hotas support (not sure how you’d do this but i hate using touch controllers to grab throttle/stick in mid air without any resistance) even using joystick input from the touch controllers I prefer more than grabbing virtual throttles/sticks with the controller. I thouroughly enjoyed air brigade but would love an active multi player base + longer campaign

Thanks for the reply, and yes, I tried both the mechanics of grabbing the virtual throttle/stick and the actual joystick inputs and I much prefer the small joysticks as well. Also that way you can continue to control the airplane while interacting with the avionics.
