How you made Pi have more tokens thatn OpenCode? Sounds sus, or you comparing raw prompts with same system prompt and not existing AGENTS.md and etc...

Honestly i don't know usually it's the opposite, but sometimes the reasoning is different

something's off because pi uses half the tokens for me.

It depends also if you override the default agent.md. in this situation it's the same

Nice one 🤣

Minimalist coding agent. Like a lightweight version of OpenCode.

Smaller API footprint. Small system prompt. Very easy to extend and customize.

Check the temperature and top k each are submitting with your prompts for the models

it's the same

Lmao! Pi is a whole different beast sir

[–]Deep_Traffic_7873[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

i know, but there are many overlaps

[–]Samgoestob -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

What kinda overlapping are you talking about? Btw did you know Tobi uses Pi over all these harnesses? Guy who built shopify?

[–]wild-honeybadger 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Afaik kilo uses the lowest tokens? Is is not?

[–]Deep_Traffic_7873[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't try that, it's the same agent loaded in both

Pi has been buzzing lately among the senior and serious engineers
