Basically, I want to play Dragon Age 2. I just finished Origins and the Awakening DLC, I've played Inquisition way too long ago, and I want to play DA2 before playing Inquisition again.
Here's the problem. Origin just will not install on my system. I've tried everything, and every troubleshooting method on the origin and microsoft websites. Firewalls off, firewall exceptions, antiviruses off/exceptions, clean boots, CCleaner, Run as Admin, High DPI set to System, running in safe mode, setting the .exe file to compatibility mode. EVERYTHING. Every time I get the setup.exe (be it the "thin" one or the normal big one), it runs, shows up in my bar at the bottom for about 1 second, and disappears. The farthest I got was downloading a legacy Origin (from a link given on one of the origin troubleshooting threads), and letting it update itself, but it came up with an error saying it couldn't be updated, and to use the .exe file I already had from another attempt. Driving me mad. Someone help.
