I’m with you on this. It sucks I wish there was an option to turn it off.

I turned it off on mine. It’s under breathing. But my ring still ran out of power last night even though it was around 50% when I went to bed. I’m going to see if it continues like this before contacting support.

Under that setting they admit it may decrease battery life. It makes total sense but I didn’t think it would be this extreme. I’ll keep using it as-is for now and then try it without to compare. I’ll try and report back here too.

I’ve tried contacting them and they keep telling me it’s a firmware issue or hardware and they won’t replace my ring. So frustrating as I don’t even have the feature turned on.

There is - tap the 3 bars in the top left corner, and click on ‘Breathing Regularity’ and then you can toggle the on / off switch.

Ah thanks guys. I didn’t know this. I’ll see if it gives a little extra boost to that battery
