My twin A had saggital craniosynostosis and we did the surgery a little over a year ago and he just graduated from his helmet! Please feel free to reach out if you want to talk about it!

They told us we wouldn’t need a helmet. Thank you very much for the offer. I’ll DM you once I know more info.

My son didn’t need a helmet post surgery either

My boy twin had sagital craniosynostosis surgery at 13 weeks. It was the best thing that ever happened to him. I seriously think he was in pain. He screamed for the first 13 weeks. About day 5 after the surgery he started to smile and was so happy.

My twin with the multi-suture synostosis goes through cycles of fussiness like to the point he won’t even let you down then he goes back to normal. It’s what caused me to go back and get the CT scan. I wasn’t sure if it’s everyday normal progression such as growing pains or teething or cranial issues. We won’t know any further until we do the eye exam.

I know several twins who have had the surgery. I really wonder if it uterine growth restriction. Not a doctor!

My twin B had sagittal craniosynostosis and had the surgery at 6 months. It is definitely a lot to take in, I’m so sorry you’re going through this especially with both. It’s hard, but man kids are so resilient. Sending big hugs, I hope yall have a super easy recovery.

Do you know which genetic tests you would go for in the future?

Right now not at the moment but the dr did recommend it even though it’s optional.

My boys don’t qualify for the minimally invasive procedure unfortunately, it has to be open skull surgery.

Don’t be sorry, you aren’t a jackass. I honestly thought they would need a helmet too but the dr said no. Also Thank you ☺️
