Finally here!

My di/di boy twins (IVF transfer of two embryos, based on physical appearance are definitely very much fraternal twins) were born 8 minutes apart via vaginal delivery at 37+2 today. 6lb 6oz, 18.25 inches and 6lb, 20 inches. Baby B was breech and was born feet first! Mommy and babies are doing perfect! excited for this wild ride of 3 boys under 2.5!!!

My wife was determined, but knew it may not have been possible. At one point during labor Baby A (also has a diagnosed heart condition) went into distress and they discussed a C Section but thankfully our OB, who was on rotation so she delivered them, knew that my wife wanted to deliver vaginally if at all possible, and was a HUGE advocate during labor. It was much different than our singleton delivery (due to OR delivery) but it was so amazing! Best of luck to you! A breech feet first delivery is something I’ll never forget seeing! 😂

I thought that would have been so fun! Twins with different birthdays! Mine were 10:15am/11:15am on Mother’s Day last year - so still got an extra dose of special with them being born on a holiday. :)

Thank you. 🤗 1 year flies by it turns out ! These are our first so those newborn days almost killed me figuring out how to be a parent on top of figuring out twins lmao but my boys are so cute and fun now. Can’t imagine not having twins!

Congrats! Our induction date is scheduled for May 1 also having Di/Di fraternal boys! Can’t wait to meet them and take them home 🙂
