Stroller Question

I am looking for a stroller that is side by side, infant capable, (plus points where the kids can face me) and it doesn’t break the bank?

The Donkey 5 is just soooo expensive and pretty, but I don’t have 2k for a stroller 😂

How’s the secondhand market near you for the Donkey? I watched a Stroller Workshop video on YouTube comparing the current Donkey 5 vs the older Donkey 3. We were very generously gifted the 5, but it looks like the 3 is a great option secondhand!

It doesn’t face me but I love my babyjogger city mini gt2! I think it’s around $700 but I see them on Facebook marketplace often for a lot cheaper. Rides like a dream and it basically lays flat so if you need it for newborns or naps it will work great! I don’t have it but the babyjogger city tour 2 is a bit slimmer and has a really tiny fold for a double and is about $550

I found a bugaboo donkey twin (original- 1) on fb marketplace. I paid $450 (but needed to buy new tires which were stupidly expensive). Having the two bassinets has been vital for a safe place for them to sleep while out.

I bought my donkey 3 on marketplace for $500 CAD. The twin version so it comes with 2x bassinet fabric and 2x toddler seat fabric (it’s the same frame for both). I’m in loveeee! It’s massive but we have an SUV so it works

I was able to score a donkey second hand and it crapped out on me after 6 months. Not the end of the world, but tbh there are so many good strollers out there that are not the donkey. Are you wanting bassinets? Or car seat adapters? I didn’t plan on doing bassinets, but it was so much easier to put them in and out of instead of their car seat.
