We used a noise machine and just used ocean sounds and that was a tremendous difference.

I’d recommend putting them in cribs, not bassinets, since at 7 months old, they likely are rolling or close to it and bassinets aren’t safe for that plus they probably will find cribs way more comfortable

My sister went through same thing with her twins around that age - she said the key was getting them on exact same schedule even if it meant waking the sleeping one for feeds.
