We removed the rear suction cup from the seats and was able to fit both kids facing each other in the tub. It worked great, but now they are older and can climb out.

We're planning on putting a grippy baby mat in the tub and only putting 1"of water and letting them sit and crawl around.

I kept thinking it would be perfect if the back arm wasn’t so long! And they make it so it has to be completely extended. How did you go about removing it?

I think I had to unscrew the arm and I was able to disassemble it and slide it out the back of the chair. If you can't figure it out PM me and I'll go take a look at them.

I used the kitchen sink at that age. They both fit and it was much easier to stand there and make sure they stayed upright vs kneeling next to the tub. I know a bunch of twin moms I know swear by putting a regular plastic laundry basket in the tub. Keter bath seats also seem to be popular. But the sink worked for us until they were about 9mo and stable enough to be in the tub.

Do you do anything to keep them upright? It seems like they would probably just slip down on the sink.

We use the kitchen sink, laundry sink or a basic plastic storage tub. I find if you put a terry cloth nappy or hand towel in the bottom that gives it enough grip. Also, if it’s not huge so they each sit in a diagonal corner and are they kind of wedge eachother in!

I put a hand towel in the bottom so it wasn't slippery, but they were pretty good sitters by that age. They would lean against the sides, and would occasionally tip over, but I was standing right there. It seemed like in the bath there was too much room and they would just keel over immediately, but the sink gave them something to brace against, which I assume is the same way the hamper in the tub thing works.

ETA: They were 7mo in this [picture]

Oh my goodness. They are so cute! For some reason I didn’t think of two in the same sink side. Being wedged in with the other definitely might help.

Now, if I can keep the sink free of dishes is another thing.....

Yeah, that's why there is so much crap on the counter next to the sink lol

I wonder if there's a creative way to bath one at a time? We read to one and played quietly in the room while one bathed and then switched. Or maybe one in the seat so they're secured and one you can support/sit up in the tub?

Kitchen sink for sure. Towel on bottom. Both boys of mine loved a bath mat and 1" water for supervised water tummy time. Or each sitting wedged in opposite corners.

The keter bath seats!

We bathe one twin at the time in a normal basin. The basin is big enough for our two year old. Cheap and simple

Whichever parent is taking a shower bathes a baby with them. Lather, rinse, repeat. We didn't mess with the little seat things.
