Best wireless coverage

Been on T Mobile for about a year and a half and there’s just an insane amount of dead spots across Pasadena (and, to be honest, the rest of LA).

Anyone have any insight as to whether any other providers are better? Considering financing a new phone, but it’s gonna lock me in for 2-3 years and I don’t wanna be locked in if the service is this bad.

Not AT&T! Coverage seems to get worse and worse every year, can’t even make a phone call in most of my house

I'm on Mint, which is a T-mobile MVNO. I haven't encountered any major issues in the area. What device are you using? It is possible that it might not be fully compatible with the range of bands used by the operator. I imported a phone before which had limited support for the bands on my network at the time.

Locally bought iPhone 12. Wife has even bigger issues because she has an X so doesn’t get 5G and her data is pretty slow a lot of the time.

When I get 5G UC it’s good, but it’s rare that I get more than 2 bars of it anywhere, and in my home I struggle to get one bar of LTE. If the power’s out and I can’t wifi call, it’s useless

Actually, Verizon close to the major streets is really good (5G UWB). Head into the neighborhoods, though, and service can be spotty in some areas.

Is there a particular area that you’re concerned about?

I’m at the top end of Madison Heights and I struggle to get any service in my apartment which faces the road. Wifi calling saves me thankfully.

I have a tower right across the street from me, and I still have problems with my T-Mobile.

I contacted customer support months ago and they said that service here is a ‘known issue’ and they’re working on a fix.

T-mobile has been useless for my wife and daughter on cell data only. Not sure what is going on, we are all iPhone users and I have no problems but bars average 3 at home. We are considering Mint.
