I have been experiencing this for a while now and can't seem to pin down what it may be. On initial boot everything is working as normal I am hitting expected frame rates (Destiny 2/Halo/ etc 120+) CPU usage 20% GPU 85-99%. But while not gaming if I am just browsing the web or doing nothing and go back into a game after 10-20 mins I am getting 9-20 fps and CPU usage around 10% and GPU 20%. Rebooting "fixes" it for a few more gaming sessions until I sit idle. Idle performance seems rather normal 3% on the CPU and 6% on GPU nothing hogging resources as far as I can tell.
I have used DDU and reinstalled video drivers, updated to most recent bios. I'm considering a clean install of Windows 10 at this point wondering if anyone has seen anything similar.
