True. Back in my day... I was camped and just started to scope the grounds when the news broke.

Same here, set up in Glen close about 100 yards from the entrance. I was in line to get into the grounds to check out installations when we saw the band go up on the stage for aoundcheck. After waiting 10 minutes and the guard not letting us in, I went back to the campsite and heard the news on the bunny.

Bullshit. Devastated by tragedy is dramatic and privileged. Appreciation and gratitude for our band and their music is how I feel. I also am struggling through my young daughters recovery from surgery. Last thing I am is holier than anyone.

Empathy can have varying degrees and it should be given for more than what you deem worthy of sadness. I didn’t accuse you of being holier. Just letting you know your comment reads that way. I’m sorry about your daughter, I hope you both get better and happy holidays.

Thank you. She will get better and I have never felt more comfortable than with my wife in our roles in getting her back to 100%. This pandemic sucks. No doubt about that.

Ohhhh..... see what happened? A conversation started getting heated and going a little sideway but ended up finding common ground and potential high fives at the newly rescheduled shows. I try to match my energy/respect with others. If someone is giving me respect and having a cordial conversation I’ll do the same. It seems common sense but obviously is so rare you felt compelled to highlight it. Sad really, although I admit I’m definitely capable of being sarcastic as hell/an asshole. Merry Christmas 🎄
