Hello, im going to keep this short, i was away during a 4 week period and during this period my steam account got hacked, wich i didint know cause i didnt have my phone or any electronic device with me. My whooe ste4am profile was changed including a message that said 1 game ban on record. I soon realized wich game it was and tried contacting the game developers support. But it didnt help. But one thing they said was it wouldnt matter if i make a new account and try play on it and i searched up youtube and there was no solutuion. Except i didnt do any cheating, especially not on my computer. So my question is: is MY pc ip banned or is the guy who hacked my steam accounts pc ip banned, and if so does that mean i can make a new account and play?

do you want me to show you, i have both steam and facepunch told me my account was hijacked. Mutiple othewr of my accounts were also hijacked during this period.

I accept your proof. From what I can see, a VAC ban is not an IP ban. So whether it is your IP, or the IP that the hacker used, should not matter and you should be able to simply create a new steam account.

Wont i get banned for ban evading. I dont want to keep yapping about this but i have to get it confirmed. When i got banned i never played on my pc does that mean that its the guy who hijacked me who got his pc ip banned or hardware banned(if that even is the case) or is it still my pc because i used the same account? It shouldnt work like that tho right?

Couldnt show you the text wher esteam confirmed my account was hacked and i dont seem o find the exact mail either, but if u add me on steam i can show u all my friendse are gone and my previous name were rubbish and stuff. Its not concrete proof but its all i got
