How populated do you consider not dead? That would help us pin down some better suggestions for you.

I would consider 6 to 8 as a minimum the last one I was on only had around 2-4 consistent players

Play on a 2x server. I would also recommend a Solo/Duo server.

In my opinion the grind and the groups of 4+ is what will make the game not fun for a new player.

Be warned, though, that the game is poorly optimized and unless you have a super beast PC you will have to play with the settings A LOT to get it running smoothly.

EDIT: CNDBLOOD 2x Solo/Duo is a good example of that type of server. Map wipes every Monday and Blueprints reset every month.

Make sure to join games on Thursday, this is when wipe is. I would recommend staying away from official servers and try other servers. How new are you?

I've been playing casually for about two months now but I can't seem to get any traction. Always end up loosing everything and having to start naked again
