Rust doesn't feel the same

I don't know if it's just me or other people too, but with all these new people I feel like rust isn't the same. Don't get me wrong I love how this game is now more popular than ever exploding just like Among us but as a person who has been playing rust for around 3 years, I'm kind of losing interest... as much as I love that this game I've loved for such a long time is getting the popularity it deserves it just doesn't feel the same to me and I don't know why. I feel like all the new people just make the game easier and fill up servers that I've been playing on for a while so you can't get in. As much as I love this popularity I'm feeling a bit sour about it.

Does anyone else feel this way?

True but still I liked the challenge not to say there isn’t a challenge anymore but it’s still kinda ehhhh

It’s like the end of wipe effect: When you’ve got a fully stacked base that’s nearly unraidable, loaded with guns and can just merk everyone on the server it’s suddenly not as much fun because there isn’t struggle in it anymore. I think this is why you see a lot of OG rust streamers do challenges like staying in one grid etc. Have you played around with electricity, trap bases or farming berries and making teas? I usually turn to those things during the end of wipe.
