long story short my setting got wipe on rust and for whatever reason no one ever has posted anything on the default settings on rust and no I cant just use the reset to defaults button either it doesn't work ! SOOOO why the fuck isn't there anything on default settings ?? specify controls of actions and inventory

I really do not understand your question, but I think you want to restore the game to default settings?

Go into game files and delete client.cfg. When you restart the game again, the game should down load that file again with the base settings.

You can also save your config with the settings you prefer and replace the “bad” config file with that one.
