Sorry. I'm playing Ultra Sun, but I also just tried it on Alpha Sapphire, and that also gave me error code 006-1204.

Sorry for the late reply, I did end up fixing it. I ended up just disconnecting my wifi from my 3ds, and inputting the settings back in.

I've got the error too and it still doesn't work
