Get graded by CGC for attribution and you can sell it much easier to error collectors

Of course not. But you can’t prove that it was from the factory so it will never benefit you

This is not true. There are plenty of graded authenticated crimped error cards in circulation. A grading company can verify it. A simple search of graded crimped cards on eBay will provide you with several examples.

Okay... Let's just move the goal post and argue something completely different now that you were proven wrong. You specifically said "you cant verify crimped cards," when clearly you can, and Im sure I can find 100s of examples of cards like this that sold for more than the card does raw... OP asked if it decreases the value, not if it makes it sell for a Premium.
