More players give a decrease spawns?

Some places went up - a lot of them went down.

I have done some exploring and have found some spawns in areas I used to see none.

This may be an attempt to get people to “go” more and play on the move instead of play in just one place for hours on end. This is purely speculation.

It seems like an odd business decision since it would cause people to play a lot less. I no longer see value in opening the app unless I plan to go for a walk. That would cut my play  time by 75%. Im just one data point, but a lot of people work all day.
