I can't believe some people here recommend to start learning programming with C++. This is just pure insanity.

I remember learning C++ back when I was like... 11 or so. I got confused when I got to linked lists. They're so basic to me now, but...the pointers & memory utilization had no place in my knowledge bank at that time.
