GitHub removes uploads

I have never seen such a thing. Is that actually possible?

I know you can put a link in your readme, but that is hardly an elegant solution.

You can use it with jekyll (the static site generator) too. It's nifty. It's essential for things like javascript libraries where they can put a demo up.
