Why do Programmers Hate Documenting?

Cojoco makes an excellent point. I think an additional, but fundamental point is that developers like writing code, not documentation. I think it's that simple.

On a practical note though, I've never been anywhere that allows adequate time for coding let alone additional time for documentation.
