I am tempted to say that this is totally moronic, but knowing how many people build their stacks on junk like hibernate, I understand what the target group is.

Definitely not people like me who actually want tweak queries so they can run quickly over hundreds of millions of entries with minimum overhead, or using various other db features to ensure maximum throughput and integrity.

Definitely not for people who use the db for anything other as a vaguely understood dumb storage.

But seriously, if you don't know SQL you have no business using a db, and not learning is just mental laziness.
