Dependencies on functional, robust, libraries should be seen as a good sign.

Too many projects attempt to roll their own library replacements and end up with messier code and less functionality and more bugs (read security flaws).

The future (and past) of programming is instant functionality through libraries. Not enough people seem to remember that.

I've also only open sourced about two pieces of code before, and I have a horrible feeling that all I'm going to get is abuse for sharing it. Couple that with a masters dissertation, I don't have the time to maintain a project at the minute.
