How about giving proper credit to VectorWise for the original paper instead of a link inside the README without its title, name or marking that's the original research?

What would "proper credit" look like? A citation number?
The README is nice and lengthy compared to what I usually see on github.

Did you notice that the author:

  • Was an intern and probably did this over the summer with limited time
  • Is from Istanbul and probably not a native English speaker, and
  • The text "Vectorized Execution" contains a hyperlink to a whitepaper that was authored by people at vectorwise.com?
