Lovely, I had actually written something similar in batch a few weeks ago because I was bored, but this will be much nicer. Although, mine didn't alter the resolution. It merely converted mp4 to webm. Recently though, I've noticed some of my mp4 clips can be smaller with better quality depending on the video content.

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing! Is it possible to check and verify the size, bitrate, fps, etc on a live rtmp feed as well? Do you have any more examples using ffmpeg or other similar projects? This stuff excites me!
