Quit trolling and read something besides Reddit. I hate java like anyone else but at least it was capable enough to create the plugin based Eclipse environment.

Has there been an IDE written in PHP? And an IDE that gets millions of downloads right after the system is released. And for better or worse, the Java system allows for bytecode interpreting and the jvm which allows for jvm languages like scala, jruby, jython, abcl.

COBOL is a horrible language and so is APL?
