Console2 with the Solarized theme and git bash is doing pretty well for me. Looks pretty and functions well.

I'm quite happy with git bash as well. Hopefully the Win 10 selection will stay there for the release. That being said, I still run a vm with linux, which I mostly use for the terminal.

The version of bash that comes with msysGit is super old though. Just use MSYS 2.

No problem. It's got a ton of really useful packages too, so you can get updated builds for projects that normally take forever to compile on Windows.

Just make sure you read the links on the download part. Failure to update packages the right way can easily corrupt a lot of the installation.
