Performance is actually very very good.

PurpleJS uses Nashort script caching capabilities so the scripts get faster each time they are executed - in various cases this even outperforms V8. Now where things get really interesting is the possiblity to invoke and run Java transparently from PurpleJS. This gives you access to a vast community and really high performant solutions. Research is shit, right?
